We know what we are doing

Jeremy Thayer got his start in the trade in 1980 as a direct importer of important gems from Sri Lanka, Burma and Thailand. In 1982 he co-developed and co-owned the largest semi-automatic cutting factory in Asia and traveled to mining centers throughout the world acquiring rough gems for many years. The combination of the skills developed from learning how to grade and value rough gemstones coupled with early years of study at the prestigious Asian Institute of Gemological Science laid the foundation for a unique expertise that very few in the industry share. He later applied this expertise in sourcing and buying. Many jewelers and even gemological laboratories have called on him to assist in identifying and evaluating rare and important diamonds and gemstones.

Not a full service jeweler

We do not stock everything you might be looking for, however the inventory we do carry is the very best and priced far below most retail jewelers.

We source our inventory differently then most jewelers. Many retailers fill their stores by going to jewelry trade shows twice a year and ordering lines

from venders the same way shoe or electronics stores acquire inventory. We buy from direct sources and acquire fine estate jewelry from banks and estate

attorneys. We hand fabricate fine platinum and 18k gold jewelry. And finally, we are aligned with several other groups who share a similar way of doing

business as we do, buying at least one or two layers below normal channels.
